Xbox 360 is much smaller than its predecessor–it measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It’s powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores each running at 3.2 GHz. It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor with 10 MB of embedded DRAM. This was my first soccer game purchase for Xbox 360 and I bought this for my 6 year old son as he started soccer at age 5 and loves it. Our household are big soccer fans and watch the World Cup with the same intensity as the Olympics or more! This game does a great job in portraying the sport and gives a real life feeling while playing.
The game can be played by two players and offers some very advanced moves that may be too difficult for younger children to learn, however, you can get by with just the basic moves offered with the 4 main buttons with just as much fun. The computer AI is good, graphics are solid, the sound is just like you are in a soccer stadium, and the commentators add some additional realism to the game. You have a wide variety of teams, stadiums, and customization to choose from.
Overall, the game was worth the purchase and should provide great entertainment. If you have little ones that may be interested in soccer it also helps in learning moves, positions, and overall game play. The game can be intense, fun, stressful, and exciting all at the same time. It would be interesting to compare this product with the FIFA games.
