I thought that the Oblivion / Bioshock was awesome, but now a triple pack? Microsoft is really onto something here. This is going to be insane. Now I have something to look forward to about September. Well other than Labor Day weekend and “Talk Like A Pirate” Day.
The Platinum Hits triple pack consists of Lost Planet, Dead Rising, and Devil May Cry 4. These games have all earned their platinum status, and now you do not have to earn as much to get these three.
This new price drop is scheduled to take effect 8/30/09, so wait to buy until then.
Hopefully this will mean that the 120 GB Hard Drives go down as well. They should not be half the cost of the system. This is good news for XBox 360 fans. The cheaper the systems are the worse we have to feel when the E-74 error pops up. Sorry, but I am still bitter. It has only been a month, but now I have an Elite system (thank you Sara).
I am curious is the Dell 15% coupon code will work since that doesn’t expire until 10/31. Hmmm….. under $260 for a new Elite that probably has the Jasper chip. That would be awesome! I guess that XBox Live now takes PayPal too, so that is one more option. I will never be in a big enough yank to buy one of these games at full price, but I just wanted to drop some knowledge for all y’all.
I downloaded the new TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-Shredded (a.k.a. TMNT TIT) and played through once. I like the game and the easy achievement points. Also, there are some things about it that will take some time. For example, beating the game with all 4 turtles.
I am very excited to play multi-player with my bro, Brandon. I am hoping that a couple more friends will pick it up for only 800 MS points.
I recommend this game for the throwback feeling alone. It’s PIZZA TIME!
